Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has been sent via Australia Post. If your order is not able to be shipped within 3 business days, you will be notified of the expected timeframe.

Black Cat Quilt Co is not responsible for delays once your item is posted. Many things that are outside our control affect the timeframe for delivery, such as delays with Australia Post due to seasonal or weather events. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Unless otherwise noted in the item description, we offer flat rate shipping to addresses within Australia.

Orders up to $100 $10 flat-rate postage

Orders $101 - $200 $15 flat-rate postage

Orders $201 and over Free postage

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup by appointment in Kirwan, QLD 4817. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 3 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.

Our pickup hours are by appointment only.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at Becky@blackcatquiltco.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We do not accept returns for a change of mind. 

Actual colours may vary. This is due to computer monitors displaying colours differently and everyone can see these colours differently. We try extremely hard to ensure our photos are as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual colour may vary slightly from your monitor. 

We accept returns of damaged goods up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at becky@blackcatquiltco.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
