Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
We want you to love what you ordered. Here’s how we handle returns in a way that’s fair and clear for everyone.
Change of mind
We don’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. Thanks for understanding.
Colour variation
Actual colours can look different on different screens (monitors/phones/tablets). We photograph products carefully, but slight variations may occur.
Because of this, colour differences aren’t eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
If there’s a problem (Australian Consumer Law)
You can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem. A major problem is when the item:

has an issue that would’ve stopped someone buying it if they’d known,
-
is unsafe,
-
is significantly different from the description or sample (not including the normal colour variations noted above),
-
doesn’t do what we said it would (or what you asked for) and can’t be easily fixed, or
-
is incorrect (e.g., wrong item shipped).
For minor issues that can be fixed, we’ll repair or replace within a reasonable time.
How to report an issue
Email Becky@blackcatquiltco.com within 14 days of delivery with:

your name and order number, and
-
clear photos showing the damage/defect or the incorrect item (and, if damaged in transit, the outer packaging too).
We’ll review and work with you on a prompt solution—replacement, refund, or store credit as appropriate.
Returns we accept (problem orders only)
If we ask you to return an item:
-
please send it back unused, in original condition and packaging, within 14 days of our approval;
-
return postage to Black Cat Quilt Co is at your cost (unless we’ve advised otherwise for damaged/incorrect items); and
-
we’ll refund the item price once received and inspected. Original postage isn’t refundable.
