My Favourite Quilting Tools (and Why I Can’t Quilt Without Them)

Every quilter has their ride-or-die tools — the ones that live permanently on the sewing table. This week, I’m sharing my top three, the ones I grab for nearly every project. Trust me, if there was a quilting apocalypse, these would come with me.

🪡 Chain Piecing Cutter (like the Gypsy Quilter Bladesaver)
If you’ve ever chain pieced a hundred HSTs, you know the pain of snipping them all apart. This little gadget is fast, safe, and saves your wrist. It’s small but mighty — like a ninja with a rotary blade.

🌀 Binding Spool
No more binding tangled around your ankles like a clingy toddler. This keeps my quilt binding neat, tidy, and gliding off the spool like it’s been professionally trained.

🌸 Best Press
This magical mist makes my fabric flatter than a politician’s promise. It helps with accurate cutting and pressing, smells great, and never flakes.

Got a favourite tool I didn’t mention? Let me know in the comments — I’m always on the hunt for new gadgets to fall in love with.
